storytelling with a vision
Go Parachute is the production company and creative studio of filmmaker Kiki Huynh, who has spent her career moving between making her own work and helping other people realize theirs.
Kiki’s work spans documentary, narrative and commercial filmmaking, but has always been grounded in two things: a strong visual point of view and an interest in the human being at the center of the story.
Early in her career in New York, she worked with artists including Lawrence Weiner and Ralph Gibson, helping translate their ideas into film and video. She went on to direct the feature documentary FEMMEfille (ARTE/ZDF), bringing that same documentary sensibility to commercial work — writing, directing and producing human-centered campaigns for Le Labo, SELF Magazine, Adidas and Special K.
That experience also shaped the other side of Go Parachute: working closely with filmmakers to understand what they are trying to make, find the visual tone and language particular to their work, and help bring that vision into focus.
Today, Go Parachute develops its own scripted film and television projects while continuing to work alongside other filmmakers on theirs.

Every project has its own identity. My job is to understand it, protect what makes it singular, and help it become the strongest version of itself.
That begins with understanding the person making it.
I don’t come into a project to impose my own version of what it should be. I listen. I look closely. I ask questions. I work to understand what the filmmaker is trying to make, what is essential to their vision, and what may be getting in the way of it.
My loyalty is to the work — and that means being equally committed to protecting what makes it unique and being rigorous about what isn’t working yet.
All good art has the power to connect when it comes from a place of truth and authenticity — the weird, the beautiful, the unpredictable and everything in between.
